Saddle Ways & Bridle Whys from
Practical Horse Magazine
A reader writes asking for a remedy for staying put in her slippery new dressage
saddle. Connie Micheletti professional rider, Tack shop owner and writer for Horse
Magazine responds with Sadl-TiteTM
as one of the remedies.
Bits & Pieces from Horse Play Magazine,
June 1988
Product review and instruction article by Rebecca Colnar writes:
"I tried Sadl-TiteTM
on my boots and saddle seat. There was some "stick," but it didn't
"glue" me on as I was expecting. What it does do is offer some resistance, so
your legs or bottom don't slide forward - or backward. You just need to smooth it on and
rub it in. I'm sure it would be especially good for new, slippery saddles."
What Riders Say...
"I particularly like the tacky quality that allows for movement while
improving the quality of my grip when placing a 1200lb animal through difficult
maneuvers."
